So many women write to me and say that they are stuck. Take Marie for example “I used to love being active. Fitness was important to me before I had kids. I didn’t feel like myself anymore and my self-confidence was lower than ever. I used to be able to go to the gym or run in my free time, and now I don’t have time for any of that. I have tried so many times to start up again, but I’m so busy and tired that I end up doing nothing at all.”

Does that sound familiar? I know that it does, because it’s been me.

I’m going to get honest with you about something I feel terrible about. Years ago, before I had kids of my own, I was a nutritionist and personal trainer to a lot of moms and dads, and to people without kids who were incredibly busy. All of them had valid reasons as to why habit change was difficult for them. I was guilty of saying things like “We all have the same 24 hours in a day! No excuses!” Yuck. How insensitive! Luckily, my other positive traits outweighed those stinging words and people stuck with me.

But a lot of people didn’t stick with me. And now I know why.

It WASN’T because they were lazy.

It WASN’T because they didn’t have the ability to follow through on their goals.

It was because the blueprint was wrong. The blueprint was too big. Too much! Too time consuming!

It wasn’t until after my first son was born that I recognized my own failure as a health professional. I felt lost and confused in my new body. I didn’t know who I was anymore.

I struggled after having children. I found a way back that was so transformative, I had to share it with YOU.

Through my own experience, I have learned our physical strength can only go so far in this body if we do not harness our mental strength through action, behaviors, goal setting, habit, and mindset.

You can replace your self-doubt, fear, and negative outlook with CONFIDENCE and high self-esteem.

I know it’s frustrating and disheartening to repeat the same patterns over and over.
